He co-founded Cornell University's Ultimate team in the early 1970s and later discovered the world's first permanent disc golf course at Oak Grove Park in Pasadena, a disc throw away from NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory. While flying over, under, and around those beautiful Oak trees, Bill got bit by the disc golf bug and has been a passionate recreational disc golfer ever since. Between his decades of disc-throwing experience and his deep background in science, Bill has become exceptionally knowledgeable of and grown a deep love for disc flight.
